Travel around the world (Part 1) 30th July 2011

Today is a day filled with lots of thoughts, laughter and memories.

Was tidying up my room and saw two CDs labelled, "U.S Trip Photos 2007.

That was like 4 years ago and I was just 14 yrs old.

Open the folders in the CDs, tons of memories flow in to my mind.

Sweet memories.

Memories which I stored in some part of my mind for such a long time that I almost forget about it.

That time, I was just a Secondary 2 student.

Going to an unfamiliar place with another thirty people who I don't know at all, is totally something that I've never thought of.

But I've no idea what I was thinking at that time.

I just simply went for it.

14 days US trip was super fun and definitely an eye opener.

Met lots of new friends, saw lots of new stuff and experienced new things.

I guess, photos speak larger than words. 

So, shall just share with you some of the photos.

PS My looks are really different from how I am now. Coz I had long hair and wear specs that time. :P

 After around 16 hours of flight, we finally reach San Francisco, California.

This is our first stop. 

Computer History Museum.

Though was seriously very tired after the long flight, I fought hard to keep my eyes open and mind going.

Saw the first ever PC and the very first arcade game machine.

Super cool.

I remember I took a photo of it. But, i've no idea where i put it.

Oh well, will post it when I find it. 

hahaha...

Next stop, Twin Peaks.

Twin Peak is the best place to get a best view of San Francisco, California.

So beautiful!!!

I'll never forget the awesome weather.

It's around 16 to 18 degree.

Very comfortable.

Though it's a bit cold for me. hahahaha.

Golden Gate Bridge.

One of the places I visit.

I didn't know that I'm gonna go there.

Was totally unprepared for it.

Such a beautiful place.

It's definitely one of the places that I'll re-visit again.

Didn't have enough time to enjoy the beautiful scene and the super cooling breeze. :D

Maybe it's because of the cool weather there.

It made it suitable for them to plant different kind of flowers.

I'm totally in love with them

(Death) 30th July 2011

Death.

Something that has been in my mind for quite a few days.

Death.

Something scary.

But why?

Since the moment of birth implies death,

then..why are we still scare?

I guess probably it's because we don't know when we will die.

That's why we're scare.

On one occasion the Buddha asked several of the monks, "How often do you contemplate death?"
One of them replied, "Lord, I contemplate death every day."
"Not good enough," the Buddha said, and asked another monk, who replied,
"Lord, I contemplate death with each mouthful that I eat during the meal."
"Better, but not good enough," said the Buddha, "What about you?"
The third monk said, "Lord, I contemplate death with each inhalation and each exhalation."

 Every living being, not only human, not only animal, but in every plane, in every realm, everywhere there is birth, there is the inevitable balance - death.

I don't deny that I'm still scare of death.

Contemplate death with each inhalation and each exhalation?

I guess it's something I can't do and don't wish to do for this moment.

It's not that I disagree with what Buddha teach. 

Just that I still can't understand.

Oh well...

He never says that whatever he say is true and we should all believe.

He explains and eventually, we'll understand.

That's why I love him and respect him so much.

Ok...I shall blog again when I find out the answer.

Back from school!

Though I slept quite late last night, I don't really feel sleepy in school today.

Just that my mind process a bit slow.

Haahahaha!

Oh well..

But I'm super hyper today. :D

Totally feel like a kid.

And I don't think it's a bad thing.

hahahahaha!.

But I'm gonna get myself back into usual by tmr.

If not, I'll be going around disturbing people and they will think that something is wrong with me.

hahahahahaha!

It was quite a productive day in school.

Though my history and Chinese Lit teacher didn't come to school today, I still did quite some revision.

And most importantly, I DIDN'T FALL ASLEEP IN ECONOMIC TUTORIAL!!!!

YAY!!!!

hahahaha...

Not only that, I actually understood most of the things and clarify doubts.

Was totally a fruitful day.

Walked back home with Polar bear.

Awesome way to end my day.

hahahaha!

But I think I'm too hyper.

Hope I didn't scare him.

Muhahahahaha!

He treated me ice cream!!!! YAY!!!!

Super happy!

Hahaha... He didn't say he wanna treat. I just assumed that. :P

Anyway, I learnt something new today.

Love without expectation. :D

Though sometime, I'll get angry about some of the things, I would end up sorting it out.

hahahaha!. :P

It's you. If I love you, then I should love your flaws and accept you as who you are.

Yup. You're imperfect. So am I.

But your imperfect is what makes you perfect.

It's gonna be 2am soon.

And I just finish mopping and cleaning up the house.

And here I am blogging and not going to sleep as if there's no school tmr.

Can't believe the weekend just past by so fast.

:(

Looking forward to the next weekend.

Nothing on next weekend.

Just simply look forward to it so I can have more sleep.

Hais...

About 100 more days to 'A' level.

Start to study till late night with Lixing and Niki last week.

Wonder how long I can stand this.

Though painful, I'm glad I'm not fighting this battle alone.

Don't really feel quite well these few days.

Seems like my stomach start to give me some problem again. 

:(

Please don't make it worse.

Trying to keep myself busy so I won't think too much.

I guess I am not somebody who can stay alone for a long time.

Oh well....

Food for thought.

Buddha once said,

 "All suffering come from desire. 

Because one have desire, that's why he will suffer."

Because people have desire for love, that's why they will suffer in different ways.

But, does that mean that we shouldn't love?

Is it even possible?

Okies...

I guess it's time for me to head to bed now.

Back from a busy week of school.

Why must weekend end soooo fast? D:

Haiss...

Got back my some of my Prelim one paper.

Through there's improvement, it's still bad.

Now that I look back, I've no idea why I chose H2 CLL and H2 History.

Totally a killer.

Hais...

But I guess there's no point regretting at this point of time.

What's done can't be undone.'

So have to really go for it.

Jiayou!!!!

Happy time always pass by fast.

Sometimes, I wish I have the ability to freeze time.

Yea..I know. It's impossible. :x

There are too few perfect things in life, I can't always get what I want.

So, I should just be happy about what I already have.

Becoz life is too short to be unhappy all the time.

haha..

Baby Bear fall sick again. :(

Feel so heart pain. :(

Sometimes, I feel very useless when I can't do anything for him when he fall sick.

Just sending him SMSes, praying that he will get well soon and try not to disturb him so he can rest well.

Beside all these, there isn't much things I can do. :(

YAY!!!! 

A super duper awesome day!!!

Hahahahaah!!!!

SUPER DUPER HAPPY!!!!

Went down to shop in town with Lixing!

Seriously, I'm really happy.

Finally..I stepped out of Sembawang and Woodland area after my dreading Prelim one.

hahahaha..

Went to meet Lixing at around 12.30pm and we head down to Somerset.

 Had lunch at Shokudo Japanese coffee house.

Their food is actually quite nice and the price is quite reasonable. :D

A main course with a glass of Ice lemon tea and a mango pudding only cost around $9.

Had a real good lunch. 

After that, we went to take neoprint!!!!!

Omg, it has been SO long since I last took neoprint. 

Super duper fun!!! 

hahaaha.. Our hair colour turn light brown.

Super cool!!!

Hahaha...

Through it's a little expensive, I guess we still enjoyed it a lot.

Lixing super cute. 

Too bad the neoprint size a little too small.

But, really, super cute. hahahaha

Unknowingly, we spent around 30-40 mins there.

hahahaha..

We then head down to the flea market at Scape.

It's super warm!!! >.<

But luckily I'm wearing short.

hahaha..

Brought some stuff there.

Some of the things there are quite cheap. hahaha..

But it's really very warm in there. 

Wanted to have Ben and Jerry ice cream.

But too lazy to walk over. So we end up buying bubble tea.

The weather is just simply too hot. :(

Went to shop at the Forever 21 at both the 313 outlet and Ion outlet and also went Etude house!!

hahahaha... Simply awesome day. :D

Took lots of photos, look at lots of stuff.

We finally feel tired and head back home. 

Hahahaa...

I went to causeway point to look for some stuff first before heading back.

By the time I reach home, i'm super tired but also super happy.

Though I brought quite a few things today, i'm glad that I didn't spend out of my budget.

YAY!!!!

When I get back home, I was just simply browsing through all the photos i took today.

And I just realised that sometimes, my eyes look very scary/fierce. 

Scary eyes with an evil smile.

Muhahahahaha!!!

Back from the Prelim exam.

PRELIM ONE IS FINALLY OVER!!!

YAY!!!! ^^

I think I seriously screwed up my history paper. :(

But...that's not the main point now. hahaha..

Whatever that's done can't be undone.

As long as I know I've tried my best. :D

My Bro finally complete his 4 months BMT training.

Went with Mum, Uncle and Aunt to witness his graduation ceremony at the Marina Bay Floating Platform.

Bro and his fellow comrades marched from their camp to the Float. 

A total of 24KM!!!

Seriously, I've no idea how they manage to do that.

When we went down to fetch him, I saw others walking as if they injured their leg.

Ok, I think they really did. 

My Bro too.

Through feel very heart pain, I'm really proud of my Bro and the others who manage to finish the training.

Through they are all seriously very tired, they're really very very happy.

All the smiles on their face.

Unforgettable. :D

Hahahaha...Since Prelims is over, it just means that I've time to meet some old friends.

Manage to catch up with Kenneth.

 Hahaha...

We haven't seen each other for like 2 months. Yea..Quite long.

Went to Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe for supper. 

OMG!!! The dessert is really a big portion. 

Hmm...as for the taste, I feel that it's average. At most a little above average. 

I'll give it a 7 out of 10. haahaha...

Hahaha.. Beside enjoying the food, we just simply chat about how we've been and the things that happened around us.

I guess it's good to meet up with old friends once in a while. 

It's awesome to know that there's always a friend out there that cares about you. :D

Wanted to meet with Joey too.

But she's really too busy. Actually, I miss her quite a lot. hahaha.. :P

Oh well, as long as she's happy with what she's doing now, I'll be happy for her too. :D

Recently, i had this very interesting talk with one of my friends.

We're from different religion. 

We sat down and talked about our religion for a few hours.

maybe some will feel that it's so boring. But i personally feel that it's actually very very interesting.

Well, I get to know more about other religion. At the same time, I also get to know more about mine too. :D

I guess, no matter what religion we're from, our own god surely have taught us valuable lessons that will help us shape up our character, making a differences in each and other life.

 :D

Beside having an interesting talk about religion, I also chat with another friend of mine about 'Happiness'.

I guess what she said is really right. 

Don't wait for others to give you happiness. Find the happiness within yourself.

In that way, I guess i'll have myself being more happy. :D

Expect lesser from others and more from myself. :D

Live is too short to be unhappy all the time. hahaha...

I guess I'll be getting back some of my Prelims One result soon.

Must get myself mentally prepared to face the result.

Feels like it has been quite some time since I last blogged.

Too busy with Prelims, I guess.

Totally hate exams. :(

But I guess that's because I don't know how to do them that's why I don't like them.

Hahaha...

I think I totally flunk Prelim 1.

Ok, maybe not totally.

Oh well, hopefully Prelim 2 will be better.

Few days ago, on the 28th June, I've officially turned 18.

Awww man, feel so old. haahaha..

Got a birthday text from my Bro. hahaha

So happy.

It's the small things in life that will must me happy.

After Prelim 1, I'll take a few days break.

Got to get stuff sort out and find back my motivation to do well.

Just another few more months.

Seriously, I need to meet up with old friends.
